#123 - Why Die? Think

5-2-09
This was located by a "Why Die? Think" sign along the interstate. It was quite steep terrain to get to the cache. Kait found the cache, signed the log, and even brought a few ticks back with us! Yuck!

#122 - In the Prairie

5-2-09
After the CITO event, we went for a small nature walk to locate a cache in the park. I found this one under a tiny pine tree, saw it as we walked up.

#121 - CITO Sioux Falls 2009

5-2-09
What: CITO Event
When: May 2nd, 2009 starting at 12:30PM
Where: Sertoma Park (Sioux Falls, SD)
Who: Anyone is welcome. The more people we have, the faster it will go.
Why: It's obvious!

We met at the park and picked up a whole dumpster full of trash with other geocachers. It was fun talking "geoshop" the whole time. We got to meet StaticTank and Clubmud1 who were the people who found our caches in George with FTF! We also met 5-4-Fun, they gave us our first cache containers to plant out of their seed cache! Good times!

#120 - Event WWFM V "FREEZE"

5-2-09
We went to our first "event" called WWFM V "FREEZE" which was located at the entrance of the food court of the mall. We all showed up at the coordinates. This is a flash mob (FLASH mawb) n. A large group of people who gather in a usually predetermined location, perform some brief action, and then quickly disperse.

This event was only 15 minutes long!!! We dropped a log sheet into the can during this time to claim the event.

At precisely 12:00pm CST on Saturday, May 2nd, drop the log sheet in the can.
At exactly 12:05pm CST (not a second later) we had the event meal...something small, no need to bring your appetite. At this time we all had our log sheet in the ammo can. At 12:07pm CST, One (1) name will be drawn from the can. That person will be awarded the FTF honors for the event.

At 12:10 and 12:12pm CST on the dot, everyone will "freeze" in place.
So come one, come all, and see how much fun this can be.

At 12:15pm CST the event is over, immediately leave the area.It was fun meeting some of the people that we see their names on the logs we find!

#119 - Pine?

4-30-09
Our last one for the night and another FTF! 5 in all tonight! :-) I finally got one tonight...hard to keep ahead of the girls! Wow. We hate pine trees. This one was really hard. The GPS kept sending us around and around the pine tree. Finally, we found it, signed the log, and headed home. Got home around 11:30 and still had correcting to do....all for geocaching! Ha! Ha!

#118 - Stop!

4-30-09
Our 4th FTF! We found this one in a baricade behind the Worthington Pizza Ranch! Kait found this one...it is getting late so we are almost finished. It is a school night!

#117 - Gas End

4-30-09
This was our 3rd FTF! We had to out wait several muggles at the gas station! They were loading up a truck onto a flatbed. They took their own sweet time...finally they left and we quickly found it near a gas station. Kait gets credit! :-) I'm not doing well tonight!

#116 - Blue Line Skirt

4-30-09
This was our 2nd FTF (First to Find)! Keeley grabbed this one at a gas station North of Worthington. There were about 10 semis there sleeping in their trucks. They didn't even see us coming. This was located under a "skirt lifter". Quick park and grab!

#115 - Prairie Wetland Learning Center

4-30-09
We left after attending the music concert to grab this one. There were 5 brand-new published caches in Worthington. Keeley was the driver as she was learning to drive a stick shift in the Mustang. This was our very first FTF (First to Find)! How exciting! Kait gets credit for this one. The first one was found under a stop sign right by the Prairie Wetland Learning Center parking lot. By the time we got there, it was getting dark so we had to use flashlights! Fun caching in the dark!
